A Balanced budget
It is my first commitment to maintain the city's core services while keeping tax rates flat and budgets balanced.
I am committed to protecting police and emergency services while maintaining transparency and accountability.
I work tirelessly to put my neighbors and fellow residents first. Never hesitate to email, call, or text.
A lifelong resident with a love of service
I was raised by an Army officer and an English teacher, who instilled in me a passion for public service. I began working for Bowie residents managing constituent affairs in the Maryland State Senate, and went on to work as a community banker, helping to secure loans for small businesses in and around Bowie.
For over a decade, I have been active as a volunteer charity organizer for the USO, Wounded Warrior Project, and the Maryland Special Olympics. I have worked with city volunteer committees addressing homelessness, public outreach, and business development. Most recently, I was appointed to the city's Financial Advisory and Information Technology committees.
I was elected to the Bowie City Council in November, 2015, and love my role as a local public servant. My day job as a small business consultant gives me the flexibility and time to focus on constituent services and my formal council responsibilities.
I currently reside in Northridge with a rambunctious rottweiler and two cats.
